Zero Tolerance Policy
The following compliance issues will be categorized under the Zero Tolerance Policy (ZTV):
- 1. Child labor
- 2. Any form of forced labor, whether overt or covert, including modern-day slavery
- 3. Discrimination in any form
- 4. Harassment and abuse
- 5. Unauthorized subcontracting, including Tier 2 operations, regardless of brand
- 6. Failure to provide access to records or workers for interviews, or any denial that impedes the social compliance audit process
- 7. Shared facilities without prior approval from the Head of Compliance (this includes any other factory owned by a different owner located in the same building, or factories located in a building that has shops or markets)
- 8. Factory buildings that are approved for residential purposes only
- 9. Any unethical practices, such as bribery in cash or kind to facilitate any process.
